Each year we work with over 1,000 children and young people. Our projects help to build their confidence and self-belief and offer alternative ways to develop skills which move them towards further education and employment.
In Spring 2015 we open our new Youth Arts and Heritage centre at 50 New Walk which will house music, art, exhibition and performance spaces plus a healthy eating teaching kitchen. It’s a place for young people to get involved in anything creative that they like doing.
The young people using our centre will gain creative enterprise experience through organising art sales, exhibitions, creative workshops and performances. What’s more, with the support of our business partners and mentors, they will learn more about the working world.
Spaces in our centre are available to hire for events, meetings, exhibitions and workshops. Hire fees will go towards funding our core work with disadvantaged young people
