A local housebuilder has confirmed the development of 163 homes in New Lubbesthorpe.
Redrow Homes East Midlands has acquired a 9.5-acre site for the construction of properties ranging from apartments to detached homes, situated off Tay Road – just 15 minutes from Leicester city centre and surrounded by 325 acres of new parklands.
Construction will commence at the development in October, with the first homes available in spring next year.
From one to four-bedroom homes are perfect for first-time buyers, larger families and downsizers alike.
The development will form part of a wider new community, which will feature 4,500 new homes, in addition to a health and leisure club, a leisure and golf centre, a post office, pharmacy and other local shops. There will also be many community benefits, including two new primary schools and a major new secondary school.
Andy Noton, Land Director for Redrow Homes East Midlands, said: “We are thrilled to announce we are building homes in New Lubbesthorpe, which is set to be a thriving new community in Leicestershire. This development will offer the best of both worlds, complete with vibrant urban amenities, in a rich rural setting and brilliantly well connected to the surrounding areas.
“This is our fourth development in Leicestershire and it’s wonderful to be building homes in what is set to be a fantastic new community for the people of Leicestershire.”
Interested parties are being encouraged to register their details now to ensure they are among the first to hear when properties are released for sale next year.
This development is the twelfth in the region for Redrow Homes East Midlands, which is currently selling properties across Derbyshire and Stretton.
Homes are now also for sale from £375,000 at Saxon Meadows in Market Harborough, Redrow Homes East Midlands first development in Leicestershire.
