For the younger children there is Fun Valley, it is an Indoor Family Soft Play Centre for parents and kids 0 to 12 to play in a safe and secure venue. Following on from the successful space mission of Major Tim Peake who spent six months at the International Space Station, The National Space Centre is the award winning home of the UK's largest 360-degree planetarium. The National Space Centre is a hands-on, interactive journey through six stunning galleries, Rocket Tower, and S.I.M ride that offers an experience that is out of this world. This excellent resource is both fun and educational and a great place to take keen would be astronomers, and a spectacular place for the family to spend some time.

There is a multitude of interesting and exciting places to go and things to do on our door step. Some local attractions are free, a day at the park for example, take a pic-nic and enjoy a day in the fresh air.
