Every summer as children finish school, the Children’s Reading Campaign begins in libraries throughout the UK.
Encouraging children to read during the summer holidays, the campaign offers lots of incentives and activities and is always great fun!
This year, libraries throughout Leicester are asking people to help create a new Guinness World Record by pledging to take part in the children’s reading campaign.
All you have to do is visit your local library on Pledge Day, sign your pledge and take part in lots of fun activities.
Record Breakers promises a great opportunity for young people to discover weird, wonderful and wacky records from around the world in six different categories: Cool Tech, Way to Go! The Big Stuff, Animal Magic, People Power and Action! Adventure!
Pledge Day takes place on 11th July 2015 and you can go to any of the following libraries to sign:
Do you want to be a record breaker? Then visit your library and make your pledge.
