A great evening was had by all at Hotel Maiyango on Thursday where many
local independent businesses were awarded their certificates for a National campaign of 14 Days of Love. Hotel Maiyango owner Aatin Anadkat was on hand to welcome people to the event and showcase the Maiyango brand for quality and service.
The campaign involved over 30,000 businesses up and down the whole of the UK where local people were asked to “show some love” for their favourite business by writing a review about their experiences of using their service.
Leicester did remarkably well with a “Most Loved” National category winner and several placed 2nd and 3rd. As well as this there were the local accolades of being the “Most Loved” businesses in Leicester too.

A great selection of Leicester’s great businesses with many more being recommended by local people.
John Hill the owner of the local Leicester Thebestof business said “These businesses are the peoples’ champions and have been providing great customer service and value to our community for many years. With the current economical situation it’s great to see the small businesses in the Leicester area get a well deserved pat on the back”
The evening also included a short session for the business owners to get an insight into social media with “3 Social Media Nuggets” for people to take away with them. With support from The Entrepreneurs Circle and Business for Breakfast along with an overview by Sue Witts for Crimestoppers in Leicestershire and Rutland there was plenty to keep everyone entertained.
Leicester Riders owners showed why they are the Most Loved Business in Leicester by giving a Free ticket to their next basketball match against the Milton Keynes Lions on 24th March for everyone who attended the awards evening.
