Nowadays we are in a throw away society where when something goes wrong your first thought is to buy a new item.
When it comes to your TV or DVD going wrong then it must be better for someone to have a look at repairing it first.
As manufacturing costs are kept to a minimum on new products then reliability on some (mainly cheaper) brands can be fairly poor. At Lords electrical we are one of the main service centres in Leicestershire for TV, DVD and audio equipment and we can repair most brands.
We get a lot of enquiries where customers have purchased tv’s from other retailers that don’t offer servicing. Even if the product wasn’t purchased from us we are still more than willing to help.
We don’t expect you to try and put your 42” tv in the car either as we will send out one of our engineers to your house and if we need to bring it in to our workshop we can leave a loan tv. It is surprising the number of repairs we do that are simple and inexpensive and a lot cheaper than buying a new one.
Of course not all repairs are possible or cost effective and if you need a new one, we can provide a new one quickly, some of which come with a 5 year warranty, or to get over any repair costs we offer rental of equipment as shown in a previous blog.

I have worked at Lords electrical for over 14 years full time. I still enjoy meeting customers and selling the right product for their needs.
