Leicester offers a wealth of history and heritage and Heritage Sundays provide a fantastic opportunity for you to view historical buildings that are not usually open to the public.
On the last Sunday of every month from June to November at 2:30pm, a tour of Leicester Castle’s Motte and Bailey is available that enables you to look at the buildings around Castle Yard, including the Great Hall of Leicester Castle, St Mary de Castro church, Castle House and Castle Motte.
The best way to tour any historical building is with an experienced tour guide where you can take in the magic, traditions and culture. The tours of Leicester Castle are led by an expert Blue Badge Guide, who is on hand to keep you fascinated and interested as well as answer any questions you may have.
Tours of Leicester Castle will take place from 2:30pm on 28th June, 26th July and 30th August. Don’t miss out!
Price for the tour of Leicester Castle is £2.50.
