Come along to a free community Open Day on Thursday 17th April, where you'll have the opportunity to share your ideas and learn about street art with U CAN Spray—the UK’s first street art charity—and its creative team, led by Lewes-based international artist Sarah Gillings. This project is delivered in partnership with Culture Shift.
This community art project will work with local people to bring your ideas to life at the Phoenix Causeway Underpass (from Harveys Brewery to Tesco)

How to get there?
Road Directions
From Lewes Station, turn on Station Road and left onto Friars Walk. At the traffic lights, turn left onto Eastgate Street. Continue straight onto Phoenix Causeway (A2029) and cross the River Ouse. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto North Street. Drive along North Street for about 300 meters—Waterside Centre will be on your right.
Public Transport Directions
From Lewes Station, exit from the main entrance. Head north on Station Road towards the main town. Turn left onto Friars Walk and continue straight. Cross the road at the traffic lights onto Eastgate Street. Follow Eastgate Street as it becomes Phoenix Causeway (crossing the River Ouse). Turn left onto North Street just after crossing the bridge. Continue straight for a few minutes, and you will arrive at Waterside Centre on your right.
