Celebrating 20 years
Since it's official opening twenty years ago, the Arboretum has grown into an inspirational living landscape where family, friends and comrades can celebrate lives lived and remember lives lost.
We are making three pledges in which we commit to continue to engage people in Remembrance, adopt and advocate for sustainable practices, and nurture a space that is inclusive and accessible to all. In partnership with the National Forest, a large part of this work will include the creation of a living memorial commemorating lives lost during the pandemic.

Beautiful serene place to remember the military service men and women who served in the wars. Well kept gardens, individual monuments of each regiments. Need more than a few hours …
It is the best place to learn about those remarkable individuals who sacrificed their lives for our freedom today
This place is a lot bigger than we thought. There are a multitude of exhibits in the grounds. I would advise taking the tour train as you get a commentary …
Always a great day out, lots of space for children, the stick man trail is good. Obviously the setting is sombre and respect must always be given. A special place!
