Mrs L is enamoured with alpacas. I think it’s the hair and the general air of chill that they exhibit. We drive past different alpaca fields on the way to work and gauge the potential of the day on how many we see.
It’s Mrs L’s birthday weekend so I thought that maybe a full on, close up alpaca-fest would spell happiness.
It certainly did. This is a great place for a couple of hours visit. You can buy bags of food and be adored by sheep, goats, alpacas, lamas and goats. There are marmosets meercats, ferrets and 2 tortoises.
Dead friendly and chilled. What a fab place. A great de stress place.

we had a great time walking and feeding the Alpacas today x The very knowledgeable young man who led our walk was fab and I came away with a fantastic understanding of Alpacas ... I apologise for not being sure on his name I think it was Brandon but I was distracted by a very handsome Clinton who thought I was one of them due to my fluffy coat lol 😆
Defo returning, food was lovely too in the cafe 😋
Highly recommend 👌
Thankyou

Had the best santa experience!
We made reindeer food, saw the animals and even "built-a-bear" (in our case an elf) but the funniest bit was the naughty elves who were playing pranks, throwing foam snowballs and generally being very cheeky, lovely interactive experience...and of course we got to see Santa too.
Loads of photo opportunities, friendly staff and really reasonable cost.

Went for the halloween experience, wow, what a great 4 hours we spent there. Beautiful halloween scenes, amazing face painting, animal encounters (snakes, shetland ponies, giant tortoise, and loads more), wizard and witches shows, wands. The list goes on. All included in the entrance fee. Fantastic value for money and the friendliest staff. The only small suggestion i could make would to maybe have a tea/coffee facility down by the park as the adults would love a coffee whilst the kids are having fun (yes i know theres a cafe but its alot of hassle to walk up there when you have kids with you and they want to play)

Booked my 3 year olds birthday party here, weather was absolutely awful but the guys had planned plenty of contingencies, the kids had a great time petting the animals, feeding the sheep/goats/pigs/alpaccas (when the weather cleared up) and we had a lovely packed lunch and sing along with fake tattoos too. Would definitely recommend (extra shout out to Charlie and Lily they were brilliant).

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lovely small place with alpacas, goats, sheep, ducks, meerkats, marmosets, chickens. Can't remember what else . Quite a few smaller animals on the hut as you go on to pay. Don't miss those too.

As long as you aren't expecting a massive place you will love it here. We spent so long watching the marmosets. They were brilliantly cheeky. Lots of nice hands on activities for the kids do, but we went during the summer holidays. Will be back for Halloween.

Amazing place for a family visit without the hassle of a full size zoo.

I've had such a lovely morning here with my 2 year old son! There are lots of animals to look at including alpacas, sheep, pigs, meerkat, monkeys, miniature ponies and more. There is a lovely gift ship where you can buy toys for the children and food to feed some of the animals. There is a play park as well including a bounce area and a huge sand pit with little toys already supplied so you don't have to worry about taking your own. The staff are so friendly too! We could have stayed longer but my little one was worn out! We'll definitely be going again!

When we arrived with my 3 year old I was initially concerned about the size of it. It's rather small and we didn't think we'd be there long. But it's VERY misleading! There's lots of animals, they give you plenty of food (if you purchase some you get a bucket rather than a tiny paper bag), and there's regular talks and petting opportunities as well. There's a good sized playground and a bouncy pillow as well as a big sandpit. Alongside the alpacas and llamas, there are sheep, goats, ferrets, birds, tortoises, rabbits, guinea pigs, marmosets, and ponies, and some reptiles in the shop entrance. We spent about an hour and a half with my son feeding and stroking all the animals, another 30 minutes at the playground and bouncy pillow, and just under an hour for a late lunch in the cafe which is also fantastic. We paid about £22 for three meals and drinks and one of us had the adults burger which we didn't expect to have two burgers in, another had the cooked breakfast which was big and very filling, and the 3 year old had the kids burger which seemed like a single decker adults burger! It was really good too and the ladies in the cafe couldn't do enough for us!

Lovely place to visit. Not very big but lots of very friendly animals who all politely take food from children. You can have a snake hold, sit on a pony, cuddle an alpaca and walk with the giant tortoise. The cafe is great, I recommend the fish, and the cakes look super. My granddaughter loves the huge sand play area and bouncy pillow, and they can milk a (fake) cow and climb in the play frames.

Such a nice day out! The staff are also great, knowledgeable and friendly. Some lovely animals and its so nice the kids got the feed them and pet them. The timetable is great too, always something to do. The kids had so much fun at the foam party. Food so nice, pricey but when the kids eat for £1 and the portion is so good, it doesn't matter
10/10
Thank you!
