Went to see Paul Lamb & The King Snakes on Sat. Nice venue, lovely wine, friendly staff. Toilets very clean (hand-dryer not working though).

Firstly, I very much appreciate that this venue is run by volunteers. Their enthusiasm and helpfulness reflect their determination to make this organisation successful but also enjoyable for the patrons who attend concerts etc. I don't drink alcohol but I appreciate the bar at the end and the fact that you can get up and get a drink whenever you want. This gives an overall comfortable feel about the place. I love the fact that the Guildhall is used, again, is ensuring that the building is kept alive as I'm sure it was when it was first built.

Lichfield Arts have been around a very long time and being reliant on donations and grant funding, this is quite a feat! They put on some great acts and run some fab festivals such as Fuse and the L2F folk festival. Highly recommend checking out their What's On page and getting along to the gigs.

Lichfield Arts are such an admirable organisation - a charity putting on great gigs in the Guildhall for the community to enjoy; beer festivals for the beer lovers; Fuse Festival in the summer for the whole of Lichfield and further afield, and all on a shoestring budget. Excellent!
