I'm not a huge fan of religious sites or architecture but Lichfield Cathedral is a bit of a Gothic masterpiece. The place also offers a spot of comparative calm in the business of the town centre (at least when I was there a month before Christmas) Helpful staff too, very Christian!

Excellent. Especially if you like wandering around old churches. Very ornate exterior. Quite spectacular frontage, its surroundings very peaceful.

Very imposing from the outside and amazing carving. Equally splendid on the inside, but wish the outside could be cleaned up. It would be stunning then.

Went for the light n sound show commemorative of remembrance day
It was spectacular to say the least!
Fully inclusive ramps provided for wheelchairs and they were very welcome of our sons assistance dog we were offered 4 times a bowl of water (but we had brought our own)
We spent a most wonderful couple hours there

Wonderful Poppy 2021 display of lights tonight. Excellent experience. Be mindful of parking - nearby carparks available. Beautiful building steeped in history

Every member of staff that we met during ‘Poppy fields’ last night were so so friendly (outside directing people where to go, on the door checking tickets, and the lovely lady by the prayer candles ❤️) it really made the experience special, Such a beautiful cathedral and incredible light show!
