Nathan Carter appeared at The Garrick on Tuesday and it was one of the best shows we have attended....very well supported by the lovely Niamh McGlinchey [gorgeous voice AND talented songwriter] plus the entire band, they are really talented and spot-on backing for every song. Well received by all age groups, it might be OTT to describe the show as "high octane" but it really "never missed a beat" throughout the entire evening. Can't decide whether to book Birmingham Town Hall or Prince of Wales in Cannock next March when he comes back....OR BOTH!

My Mom and I came here last night to see Abba The Reunion. It was fantastic! The act was brilliant, the atmosphere was incredible. Everyone was up on their feet dancing and singing. What a great night!
The theatre itself is lovely, clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back

We recently visited to see an amateur production in the studio as opposed to the main auditorium. Both theatres offer superb seating and views. The bar areas are comfortable both on theatre nights or during the day if you wish to pop in for coffee and cake. Recommended

Proudly bearing the name of one of the City's illustrious sons, the Garrick is a superb venue, fresh and modern with a splendid auditorium and lovely staff. Everyone is made very welcome here and the facilities throughout are first class.
We look forward to returning for future shows.

the players portraying the story of buddy holly and the way it was acted out was excellent. Very well produced andlayed in what is a smallish theatre. The lead who played buddy was just superb. Big bopper was great and Richie valance brilliant. An excellent piece of entertainment

I've been to the Garrick many times & it is a good little theatre & puts on some good shows. For the first time last night I went to a production of the Hot Mikado in the Studio Theatre. It's a small arena with seating on 3 sides & the audience is very close to the stage. I won't do a review of Hot Mikado but it was worth seeing & had a young cast with a couple of good players. Not sure if it was to do with the theatre or the cast, but their radio mikes played up all night which spoiled it a bit. The seating was a bit cramped & rather uncomfortable but all in all, the Studio is a good place for a small production.

We live locally to the theatre and have not been disappointed with any of the shows as diverse as the Panto to Kapenters, from Rumours of Fleetwood Mac to Mowtown and everything in between.

Attended the Lichfield Garrick Theatre last night to see The Business of Murder by Richard Harris. What an excellent play the actors were brilliant, you could hear a pin drop in the theatre everyone was so engrossed. The theatre itself is so lovely and welcoming. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Would recommend a trip to the Garrick so check out their website to see what is forthcoming.

Good theatre in a great location. The drinks were reasonably priced for a theatre and the seating and viewing were good.

First visit to the Garrick, thanks to my daughters Christmas present of two tickets to see Songbird The Music of Eva Cassidy.
Easy to find with free multi-storey parking (after1830) next door.
What a nice friendly place all staff were helpful and polite .Theatre was clean and the smart. We had seats four rows from front in the middle of the row.
Seats were comfortable with good leg room .

We have visited quite a few productions here and have been impressed by the venue each time. The theatre is bright and modern and has a restaurant and bar with cosy sitting
Armchairs from which to enjoy a drink or coffee either before the show or during. The sitting in the auditorium is good with plenty of legroom and not too many rows of seats so that you can see the stage from any position. There is a multi car park directly behind the theatre which is free to use after 6.00 pm and so travelling and parking are no problem. It is a pity that other theatres are not so accessible and a delight to visit.

Loved this - I attended the Garrick to see Jason Manford play live - I had my reservations how this would work out as i've been a few times to see small productions as well as talks - but I wasn't disappointed - the Garrick is a great venue which is very versatile.

Went on Boxing day and it was magical. Lots of children dressed up and their excitement was well justified. The show was superb from start to finish with lots of innuendoes for adults and comedy for the children. The costumes were excellent the scenery was very good and Cinderella's coach was magical. The music was good and all of the cast were excellent singers/dancers. Don't understand why there are no other reviews on here....

We thought that the 2014 pantomime, Cinderella, was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it from begining to end. It was clear from audience reaction that our view was shared. I can honestly say it was the best we have seen for many years.

We visited the studio theatre at the Garrick in Lichfield. There were no Front of House staff in the theatre. a man took our tickets outside & instructed us to walk across the set to the far side to our seats. Our seats were actually on the near side. It was not easy to find your seat. Numbers were marked on the floor & not visible until you were on top of it. We noticed many people having to move because they were in the wrong seats. The rake is very steep & not suitable for older theatre goers. The seats are very narrow & uncomfortable. At the beginning of the performance a member of staff entered & sat at the back. I dread to think what would have happened if there had been an emergency evacuation. Very disappointing visit. will not go again.

I was lucky enough to win a night out for two to see A Vision of Elvis starring Rob Kinglsey last Saturday evening. My friend and I had an absolutely fantastic time, starting with pre-show drinks in the Green Room Bar/Cafe, we collected tickets from the very friendly staff in the Box Office and took our seats in the Stalls. This was our first visit to The Garrick, and won't be our last - comfy seats, plenty of leg room and excellent views of the stage. My friend and I had an absolutely fantastic evening. Rob (as Elvis) started the concert with Elvis at Sun Studios, progressed to his GI days, films and Las Vegas showtime - we enjoyed every minute. Planning my next visit!

We've been to see four productions this year so far and all have been wonderful but last week's production of 'Phantom of the Opera' by Lichfield Youth Theatre was superb. A truly memorable show. We are so lucky to have the Garrick on our doorstep.

Having seen the Christmas panto and two other shows since then, we really must keep this gem in Lichfield. The theatre is struggling for funds but we would happily pay an increase of 50p to £1 in tickets if it went to support he theatre.
