About Lichfield Rugby Club
Founded in 1874, Lichfield Rugby Union Football Club is home to men’s, ladies and mini junior playing sections and is one of the oldest rugby football clubs still active in England.
Teams and Players
The players and teams at Lichfield Rugby Union Football Club are very important to the future of the club:
- 2 senior men’s teams
- A veteran’s team
- 2 colts teams
- 2 Ladies teams
- Girls under 18, 15 and 13 teams
- Boys under 16, 15, 14 and 13 teams
- Mini teams (under 7’s to under 12’s)
- Under 6 (rugger rats) for children in Year 1 and Reception at school
- O2 Touch rugby centre offering a great way for young and old to keep fit and have fun
Regular training and matches take place throughout the season and are supervised by RFU qualified and DBS checked coaches.
