We have been with this practice for around 5 years and to be honest I cannot fault them. I've had a few emergency call outs, they have been quick and very compassionate in some stressful situations.
We have had my old TB go through quite a lot and had the wonderful Regina come to his aid, she has been brilliant at talking me through the situation guilding me with my homework in supporting her treatment. I don't feel that asking any questions no matter how ridiculous or obvious is wasting her time as she gives me honest information and makes me feel that my questions are valid.
I have had some of the other vets who have also been very good and when my TB had to go in for treatment all the staff at the hospital were great, very friendly and helpful.
It's always a pleasure to call up and speak to reception, friendly, professional and helpful most importantly fun. Not normally something that you expect from a reception team but refreshing.

Would 100% recommend Pool House. One of my horses got rushed over to Pool House with colic on Friday evening. They were there waiting for us go arrive and started work on him straight away. They rang me twice a day to let me know how my little monster was doing. Amazing service and they looked after my pride and joy like he was their own. Thankyou so much for looking after Charlie. He's now home tucked up in his bed and back to his normal cheeky self.

After our horse Wilson having had a big operation to remove a large lymphoma from his girth area I can honestly say that Pool house have really exceeded my expectations!! Absolutely everybody employed at Poolhouse are truly amazing!! Marco who performed Wilson’s surgery is so caring and professional and nothing is too much trouble!! Communication was excellent and Marco talked us through every step of the way treating Wilson personally! I Was called everyday to inform me of Wilson’s progress - receptionists amazing! Stable staff amazing and of course lovely Francesca!! You are a lovely caring lady!! Thank you so much Poolhouse! You have been amazing and could not of wished for put Wilson to of gone anywhere else - 5* care!!

My pony was admitted as an emergency late one night, cannot fault the care he received. I was kept updated about his treatment and well-being. On visiting him (twice a day!) the vet always came out and updated me. His stable was clean and comfortable for him and they cleaned him up beautifully. When I went to collect him, someone had re-done the braids in his mane and forelock which I thought was a lovely thing to do.
