A beautiful place for quiet thought remembering those 16,000 service men and women fallen since the end of WW2. A large clean area to walk and contemplate.

My first visit as a former soldier I was blown away with it's enormity serenity, but my time there was short therefore I intend to return with my grandchildren and spend a little more time there .

Went for a memorial service of the sinking of the Lisbon Maru. Beautiful place, well laid out and maintained. Plenty of quiet spots to reflect on the horrors our service men and women went through. Reasonably priced restaurant and clean toilets. Definitely well worth a visit.

I loved all the monuments at the arboretum! We couldnt really do it all justice in 1 visit. I will recommend setting aside whole day to view the amazing memorial. Better still get an air B and B and make it a whole weekend event. I will be returning by Gods grace!
