We can't believe that we haven't visited before. This place is huge. Quite rightly, the amount of thought and attention put in to these memorials is incredible. Definitely worth a visit.

What they have is quite good, but I was disappointed to discover they have no record at all of casualties prior to 1945. Granted there were colossal casualty numbers in both world wars, but I would have expected to find at least a database of every life lost as a consequence of enemy action.

We thought that there was more to the venue than what there was. It's a lovely place, with gardens and memorials which are very somber, sobering and thought provoking. We went around the site in about 2hrs. We were glad that we went to the venue but thought that it would take longer to go around.

The staff were great and very helpful and the food prices seemed reasonable.

Fantastic but it’s a pity that the route map ( mini guide )is not more user friendly, however the staff more than made up for it. Thank you one and all for being so helpful

Excellent time at National Memorial Aboretum today. The Victory in Japan (VJ) Tour led by one of the enthusiastic volunteers was incredibly informative. Well worth the visit

I absolutely love the arboretum. It's fantastic for all ages.
There are areas for child loss, as well as for the emergency services, and many others. Not just for forces personnel.

We took a walk on the stick man walk. It was brilliant and easy to follow

The National Memorial Arboretum is a peaceful and extremely well cared for area for remembrance and reflect. You can easily spend the day there and not see everything, and with new memorials being added all the time and free entry, this is not a 1 stop visit. We will be visiting the arboretum 2 or 3 times a year from now on to get the full appreciation of the grounds in different seasons.
