Absolutely marvellous and can't wait to go again. Clean, serene and well maintained grounds. The staff were very helpful. We bought a plan of the layout but it could have been more comprehensive. Three or four hours are required to get around the site.

A wonderfully peaceful place to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our national survival, present and future. All are represented from all walks of life, civilian and armed forces who fell or contributed in all conflicts of the last century to the present day. A nice place to reflect.

Very impressive place with some wonderful monuments. Trees are still quite small though and you need big, shady trees on a hot sunny day such as the day that we visited. Fifteen or twenty years from now this is going to be a tremendous place.

Very family friendly and good access for the less mobile. All the staff are volunteers (I believe)and are so friendly too. A nice place to visit if you are looking for somewhere not noisy. A fantastic cafe serves delicious hot and cold food and very reasonably priced.
Everywhere is very clean.

Amazing, even in the pouring rain the Arboretum still manages to evoke a sense of pride and honour for those that have given their lives for all those that are still able to live ours.

Very thought provoking to wander around at random. Beautifully kept grounds . Lots of butterflies & birds. The new restaurant, shop & display area is wheelchair friendly. Staff very helpful. Lots of space to be alone with your thoughts if you need to.

A wonderful but humbling place to visit to pay respect to thise who gave their life for our freedom and those who helped with our armed services in the pursuit of the same goal.
Ensure you are prepared to walk a long way as the site is massive and takes many hours to do it justice. There is a Land Train tour which takes you round the main areas.
Parking is good, ensure you have £3 in cash or pay in the reception area.
The restaurant/cafe is suitably priced and provides hot meals as well as snack etc... I would recommend that you buy your hot drinks from the Coffee Shop across the courtyard as the coffee is made properly and not from a push button vending machine; and also the same price!
Overall I recommend the National Memorial Arboretum as a day out.

This is an amazing place can easily spend a whole day walking around. There are over 200 memorials to see in large grounds with lots trees that have been dedicated. The new centre is only about 3 years olds with a lovely restaurant. The main attraction is the Armed Forces memorial.
