Really impressive place. Thoughtfully designed with some great memorials. The cafe is great value too, they don't rip you off like do many places. The staff are also knowledgeable and friendly. Well worth a visit whether you have a connection to the forces or not

Great place to visit, you could probably see everything in half a day, plenty of memorials to see & read, the wall is most impressive, positioned on top of large mount & visible through out the arboretum, there is a large restaurant & gift shop, parking is £3 for all day.
The day I went there was a Spitfire on display.

I have visited the Arboretum from time to time since it opened, and there is something new each time. This is a fine place for a peaceful walk amongst the trees and memorials dedicated to servicemen and servicewomen of all types. It certainly makes you think about those who have fought to defend our way of life. There is a chapel and cafe with excellent facilities.
