This is an excellent facility with memorials to every service with a central memorial with the names of all those fallen giving their lives for freedom. There is also a cafe and shop. A good place to visit for quiet reflection.

A truly amazing place to visit. Really well laid out we only had 2 hours, we will definitely return and see the rest of this humbling memorial garden. There is a very nice cafe, not expensive, with lots of choices to eat & drink. Entrance is free but there is a charge for the car park. A must visit place.

An movingly beautiful national memorial to all those men, women and children who have given their lives in service to values, community and country. Set in the Derbyshire countryside, many miles from where they fell each memorial is a lovingly tended testament to such sacrifice, bravery and goodness, including a well deserved memorial to those disgracefully shot by the British state for 'cowardice' during the 1st World War.

It was a quick visit during a journey north but we definitely want to return for a day to do the place justice. Much larger than we had realised. Cafe quite expensive. Car park £3 for the day.

What can you say I am an army vet and so proud what they have done . I think schools should visit to understand what the forces have given so they may live in a world that is safe for them

I try to visit at least once a year to pay tribute to a fallen comrade, but also along with my wife I like to attend events like armed forces weekend which is an amazing occasion for the whole family. Apart from organised events the nma is a fantastic place to visit and to learn about our country's history and the sacrifices made by others so that we may have the freedom's we enjoy today.

Given the sombre purpose of this place, it is an excellent place to spend a few hours. The memorial wall is sobering. Many of the other memorials ask many more questions than they answer. Overall a worthy place to go, and if you are prepared to offer some explanations, a good place to further your kids education.

Great memorial to a past that mankind can hopefully learn from but I think its more a case of history repeating itself. I attended the Armed Forces day event which was very nice for adults and kids. Huge grounds and ample parking.
