Finally found the time to visit and will be going back again soon. The site is so well organised and laid out. I recommend taking the land train in the first instance because there is so much to take in.
I found it all to be very moving, especially the 'Shot at Dawn' area.
I would highly recommend a visit 'Lest we forget'

We visited the National Memorial Arboretum and were very impressed. It is a place everyone could visit including families. It is not in the least bit stuffy, it is truely a people's place to remember not just those in the military who have given their lives but anyone. We visited the SANDS memorial garden which was beautiful and very moving.

This was our second time joining the ride to the wall,
Amazing the event was so well organised the ride from Cherwell valley services was brilliant emotional at times,
Arriving at the arboretum was very emotional riding through and seeing the memorials was very touching,
Some of the memorials where just astounding, beautiful place just didn’t get to see all of it so
Will be returning g with our children to walk around and have a proper look.
I love this place and believe that all the memorials are very fitting to remember our hero’s.
They will never be forgotten thanks
To places like these.

We had an excellent visit here today, made very welcome by all of the Staff, I would recommend the Land Train £6 if you have not been before as you get taken around most of the site and you can make your way back to anything in particular that you want to see. Some very moving memorials and monuments to me the most poignant was The Shot At Dawn Memorial which depicts the young soldiers of WW1 shot because they were very very frightened and ran away later to be pardoned in 2006. Must compliment the excellent Sunday Roast i sought out the Chef afterwards to thank her put that into a Pub environment with a blazing fire you would be onto a winner
2 Observations I see that yet again Bomber Command has no memorial (They were not murderers they did an exceptional job in difficult times) secondly why do you not charge a nominal entrance fee of £2/3 I do not think most people would object and it would bring in a tremendous amount of money

This visit is a must for everyone especially if like me you are ex forces. The whole area is so tranquil with some stunning memorials. The one that stood out for me was Shot at Dawn depicting a 17 year old boy about to be shot for cowerdness during WW1. Little did we know what they went through and thankfully they have all been pardoned.

Well planned and laid out with excellent parking. Entrance is free. The National Memorial Arboretum is maturing, with all the trees that have been planted over the years, into somewhere that you can visit at any time of the year. Some of the statues are amazing. Such a fitting memorial of peace and tranquillity.

Been a couple of times before, always an enjoyable experience very moving and thought provoking. On our latest visit decided to treat ourselves to the landtrain tour. Unfortunately our whole day was tainted by the inappropriate attitude and behaviour of the land train driver who was verging on rude and the way he spoke to some of his passengers was totally out of order. Well in need of customer relations training. Won’t put us off coming again but as stated took the shine off our visit.

Extensively developed since our last visit about ten years ago. Thoughtfully designed and laid out in a beautiful setting. A wonderful tribute to the fallen casualties of war. Thought provoking and humbling.

We took Dad to the NMA today, and he was impressed. He was due to visit with Mum a number of years ago before she passed away, so it has taken a while to show the old Royal Marine the tributes to our heros.

Visit every year, and always something new to see. Its a massive place and impossible to see everything in one day, we always pre book a buggy tour, which is the best way to see it, including having a fantastic guide, and blankets if its raining or cold. Shot at dawn is very poignant part that always leaves me feeling quite emotional. Food is very good and a lovely gift shop.

We had no particular reason to visit, not looking for specific names, but still found the whole experience very moving. This is a great development dedicated to the memory of those who fell serving the country

I really enjoyed my visit to the NMA.

No entry charge, but donations gratefully accepted. There is a charge for all day parking (£3).

So many memorials and so much to stop and think about. Something that is certainly worth taking your time over during the visit.

The thought behind the memorials is excellent - such as the Shot At Dawn being placed so it is the first memorial to see the sun each morning. Little details, but amazing impact.

The grounds of the NMA were peaceful and very well maintained.

I visited the smaller coffee shop for lunch, where the food was fresh and very well priced.

Also a well stocked gift shop on site.

Very well worth another visit.

A wonderful place. However, the Land Train is over-expensive at £6 - couldn't hear the commentary because of the diesel (!) engine with its carcinogenic fumes. Ban diesel and have a more environmentally friendly train. No admission fee but £3 for a simple map?! It is a great place to remember those who have served their country and well worth visiting.

Beautiful if slightly chilly start of autumn at a beautiful, peaceful site. So many well-earnt accolades; eye-catching and thought-provoking memorials to so many brave men and women. Very tidy, calm and serene place to contemplate our heroes. Well worth a visit.

Visited here after a friend mentioned it. Never knew about it before. Lovely place, full of stories and memories. There are lots of talks and information on all aspects of conflicts past and present.
Spent a day here, but so much to see would happily return.
