A brilliant place to visit. You have to pay to park but otherwise it's free. Keep an eye on the weather forecast, it could spoil your visit. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Had a wonderful day with the RAFA from stafford dedicating a new bench, wasn't to impressed with the guy on the main carpark who threw cones to stop us going any further then walked away to place more cones at the end of another row, he then came back to ask for our blue badge and told us you can't park here you've to go across the road. Then he moved the first lot of cones to let us through. Why couldn't he of told us that straight away. A course on people management required here I think.

Absolutely amazed at the size. Make sure you double check where the memorial is on the touch screen in the entrance, it's easy to miss some of the smaller ones.

A wonderful place to visit.

It’s absolutely beautiful and I love that they are keeping the sacrifice that the armed forces give in the public eye.

Please visit and support the great work that they do.

It’s free to enter, £6 to park and the restaurant serve lovely food.

What a humbling, amazing place. Reduced me to tears. Great for accessibility with a land train to take you around the site with commentary. The train cost £7.50 and was well worth it.
Wonderful place.

Excellent facility and well worth a visit. We enjoyed it so much that, after a full day where we walked around the whole site, seeing as much as we could, we visited a second time for a more leisurely day. Parking is £6 if you just turn up but £4 if you book online. Entrance is free. There are lots of helpful volunteers to assist you and the cafe is excellent with very good allergens provision.

Such a lovely place, commemorating all servicemen & women. We arrived later than expected so will definitely be back, not seen anywhere near enough.

Booked a trip for Worksop MS Group for a buggy tour & lunch. We had coffee on arrival and a quick overview from our driver/tour guide then started our trip round the memorials. We had the opportunity to visit any memorials we were interested in. The guide was knowledgeable and had lots of things to tell us about. As we had mobility issues he took us as close as possible so we had a good view of everything. Lunch was delicious and we were served which was a great help. The afternoon tour was just over an hour and finished at the Armed Forces Memorial where we were taken up to the top by buggy as many of us would not have been able to walk up the steps. All together we had a wonderful, stress free day out completely made by the guides knowledge and the ease of getting round.

I first visited this place during Remembrance Day; however, the weather beat my family off, so I had to return to see the rest of the memorials.

This memorial site is amazing it's well set out and you can spend all day there walking around all the different memorials. Dogs are welcome in all areas apart from the Armed Forces Memorial. There is a train that takes you around if you are not a mobile as some and golf buggies that yo can hire.

The restaurants and shops are great and offer a wide range of food and gifts. The staff and volunteers are really passionate about what they do and will always help. Check when you arrive as there are often short talks at set points and memorials throughout the day that are well worth attending.

I highly recommend this place

Brilliant if sad reminder to the people we have lost to war. A shame some people think it’s a cheap place for a picnic not a memorial that should be treated with respect

A very tranquil setting to visit where all who have served and lost their lives can be commemorated, has to be seen to be appreciated, free entry, pay for parking beforehand online it's cheaper £4 for the day. A land train can take visitors around if mobility or weather is an issue. Highly recommend if this interests you.

Absolutely amazing visit. Extremely sobering at times to think of the sacrifices given by so many. Guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Really need two days to get the full experience. Why is this not government funded ???

We love the arboretum! The 1944 exhibition is so wonderfully put together and the children can do a little scavenger hunt. The stick man trail is great and you see so much along the route. It's a great place to teach the children about remembrance and so much more. 2nd time visiting and won't be the last, we really enjoy it.

A lovely day went down well with the kids too.
We travelled 80 miles to visit specifically for the stick man trail for the kids, however, everything about the arboretum is wonderful and the staff that we came across were lovely and accommodating.

We had a very pleasant day. The site is extensive so plenty of opportunities to explore the memorials. Was too much symbolism for me and one display in particular deserved better placement and representation (Burma railroad).

Restrooms: All new and well maintained.
