A Staffordshire fundraiser is proving that you’re never too old to make a difference for a good cause by cycling an amazing 3,210 miles in one year in aid of St Giles Hospice.
Adventurers with a head for heights can enjoy a bird’s eye view of Birmingham as they raise money for St Giles Hospice on an abseil challenge next month.
More than 500 people saddled up and used their pedal power to help raise funds for St Giles Hospice at the weekend as part of the charity’s annual Cycle St Giles Autumn event.
Shaun Johnson, Managing Director of Lichfield Kitchens and Bedrooms Ltd, is taking part in Macmillan’s The Longest Day Golf Challenge, an epic 72-hole round which will last from sunrise to sunset, at Beau Desert Golf Club alongside Jonathan Florence and Andy Jones.
From tennis and trampolining, to basketball and park activities, there is lots on offer across Lichfield and Burntwood for children and young people this Easter holiday.
