Running from 7th to 15th December, the Lichfield Christmas Festival offers 17 fantastic events including crafts, activities, exhibitions and entertainment all fuelled with festive fun.
Taking place at a range of venues across Lichfield City, the events will help you get in to the festive spirit as well as help you stock up on some excellent gifts.

Christmas Trail at Lichfield Heritage Centre, 9.30am - 3pm
Enjoy a Christmas themed treasure trail around the Lichfield Story exhibition, with a treat at the end for youngsters. Children go free! 01543 256611.

Advent Window Trail

Festive fun on the Market Square
10am - 4pm Enjoy free face painting, Christmas trails, mulled wine, entertainment and shop til you drop at general market on Market Square and surrounding streets. Santa will also be stopping by to say hello! Free entry.
Festive Fair in the Dyott Chapel in St Mary's Church in the Market Square
10am - 3.30pm. Stalls include books and crafts for sale to raise money for St. John's Church, Wall. Free entry. For more information contact 01543 418317.
Christmas City Tour, 2pm
Enjoy a magical guided tour of Christmas tales with refreshments at St Mary's in the Market Square. £4.50, £3 for children. Call 01543 256611 to book your ticket.
A Georgian Family Christmas at The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum, 4.30pm

Lantern making workshops at Lichfield Cathedral, 11.30am & 2.30pm

Lichfield Chamber of Trade & Commerce Christmas Fayre on the Market Square, 10am - 4pm
Homemade gifts and traditional fayre ideal for Christmas shopping. Includes farmers' market and entertainment including stilt walkers and live music. Free entry. Call 01543 250016 for more details.
Santa's Grotto at Lichfield Guildhall, 11am - 3.30pm
Visit spacehopperevents.com to book your space to see Santa in his grotto. Tickets cost £4.50 per child and includes a make and take activity. Booking advised, but there may be slots on the day available.
