Lichfield boasts an assortment of restaurants and Cafes to tempt all taste buds and I thought I would share with you some of my personal favourites:
The Ruby Cantonese and Chinese Restaurant is the first restaurant I ever went to in Lichfield and still offers that same standard of delectable Oriental cuisine and warm, cosy atmosphere. The only difference is - they have recently opened Ruby Express - a noodle bar that has proven really popular for its great food at great prices. Now I can enjoy their food for lunch and evening!
Lichfield Cathedral has a lovely restaurant and coffee shop "Chapters - the Cafe in the Close" serving freshly prepared food, snacks and refreshments. I adore the Tea Garden, such a peaceful setting for enjoying a cup of tea whilst enjoying the great outdoors.
The Green Room in the Lichfield Garrick Theatre is a friendly, relaxed bar perfect for enjoying a coffee, light lunch or pre-show supper. The venue now offers FREE Wi-Fi.
Packington Moor Cafe within Packington Farm Shop is the perfect location for relaxing and enjoying a well earned rest. Visit any time of the day and enjoy an all day breakfast, flavoursome lunch, scrumptious desserts or afternoon tea. The menu changes regularly and if you are anything like me, you will be completely spoilt for choice.
If you like Italian food, you'll love Pizza by Goli and you'll soon see for yourself why their fabulous Italian cuisine draws in the crowds for miles around. Take the family and enjoy mouth-watering Pizza, Pasta, Steak, Fish and Poultry dishes in a warm, friendly, Italian environment.
The Plant Plot at The Plant Plot serves a delicious selection of fresh homemade lunches, sandwiches, cakes, biscuits, soup and daily specials. The food is reasonably priced and all freshly prepared.
The Spark Lichfield is a continental cafe bar open for brunch, lunch and coffee. From Thursday to Sunday, they open the restaurant at night with an a la carte menu for bistro-style dining in a relaxed atmosphere.
So, these are my favourite restaurants and cafes in Lichfield ... tell me yours!
