Margaret Davies released this title, about an eleven year old boy named Danny Higgins in 2010 which has enthralled children and adults all over the city. The story sees the main character visiting his great-aunt Mabel in Lichfield, when he is suddenly transported back in time to Lichfield Cathedral at the time of the English Civil War. The book, which is still on sale, follows his adventures at the three-spired Cathedral and the surrounding area. The question is will Danny ever manage to return to the present time?

All proceeds from the sale of the publication will be donated by the author to Lichfield Cathedral’s East End Appeal, which includes restoration of the famous Herkenrode glass. The book is priced at just £6.00 and is available in the Lichfield Cathedral Book and Gift Shop at No. 9 The Close, Lichfield (telephone 01543 306150). An ideal birthday gift for any young adventurer.
