To help people get in the festive mood for Christmas, Lichfield District Council’s park rangers are running craft workshops in Beacon Park on Sunday 12 December.
Everyone who takes part will get a chance to make Christmas decorations, gift boxes and handmade cards.
Councillor Val Richards, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure Services, said: “Come along to one of our Christmas craft workshops this Sunday. You can make a personalised Christmas decoration to add to your tree, a gift box to make a present extra special, and a homemade card for a loved one.”
The crafts workshops will take place in the park’s compound, near the bowling green. The sessions are open to all ages and are running from 10am to 11.30am, 12pm to 1.30pm, and 2pm to 3.30pm.
Each workshop costs just £2 for the session. Book your place by calling Lichfield District Council’s parks team on 01543 308869 or by emailing parks@lichfielddc.gov.uk
