If you want to find out more about the life and times of Dr Samuel Johnson, you’ll be delighted to know that the lively, interesting winter lectures are starting very soon.
Taking place on Sunday afternoons at Martin Heath Hall on Christchurch Lane, Lichfield, lectures will commence at 2:30pm.
Planned Lectures
January 25 2015: Dr Kate Iles talks about the “Wives and Daughters of the Lunar Society”.
February 22 2015: Professor Jon Mee of York University talks about “The Collision of Mind with Mind: Johnson and the Importance of Conversation”.
If you would like to attend, the lectures cost as little as £3.50 and tea and cake is included and they promise to be very enjoyable.
