Don't lose your pooch!
Everyone is invited to bring their dogs to the Beacon Park’s Swinfen Broun Pavilion on Friday 3 February, between 10am and 3pm, or to Chasewater Country Park’s Innovation Centre on Saturday 4 February, between 11am and 3pm, to get their dogs micro-chipped for just £5.
Micro-chipping is a quick and simple procedure. And, it means that if the council finds a lost dog, it can be easily identified and returned to its owner, saving the dog the trauma of being sent to kennels and the owner the time and expense of having to collect it.
Lichfield District Council has an online lost dog register at www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/lostdogs. To claim your lost dog, please call the council's Environmental Health team on 01543 308725.
