Lichfield District Council’s Arts Development Officer, Celia Houghton, led artistic activities in Three Spires Shopping Centre on 22 October, as part of this year’s Big Draw.
Activities included drawing with wire, using drawing machines, and drawing large monsters.
Customers at Lichfield Garrick’s Green Room Bar & Café, Spark Café Bar and Munchies Cafe in Burntwood also joined in the fun.
Diners chose from a menu of drawing activities, and then drew their choice on the plastic table cloths.
Celia Houghton, Lichfield District Council’s Arts Development Officer, said: “We had around 900 people get involved with the activities in the week, and they created some fantastic artwork. I am really pleased so many people took part, from toddlers to octogenarians!”
Lichfield’s Big Draw event was led by Lichfield District Council and was sponsored by county councillors Alan White and Terry Finn, who contributed a combined total of £645 through Staffordshire County Council‘s Members’ Initiative Fund.
