The free afternoon event at Burntwood Leisure Centre will include a traditional fun fair, a marching band, donkey rides, gymnastics and street cheer displays, archery sessions, and a 'Fab Dash' for all the family round the leisure centre.
On top of all this, there will be plenty of stalls selling a variety of goods such as handmade jewellery, cards, and much more.
The fete is also an opportunity for local people to access a range of information stalls and for local groups to fundraise.
Ryan Waldron, Burntwood Community Development Worker, said: “We hope lots of people come to FAB's Family Summer Fete. It will be a fun day out for all the family and a good opportunity to get together as a community. A big thank you must go to everyone who is working so hard to organise this free event.”
Forward Action Burntwood Chairperson, Sharon Whitchurch, added: “The summer fete is a fantastic chance to find out more about FAB, and how to get involved in future events and activities. We’re looking forward to the family day as it’s all about having a good time and celebrating the Burntwood community.”
FAB Family Summer Fete is taking place at Burntwood Leisure Centre on Saturday 20 August, from 12 noon to 5pm.
