Join Lichfield District Council’s Historic Parks Project officer, Alison Richards on a tour of Beacon Park and the Festival Gardens, exploring the many different tree species on Friday 26 November.
Learn about the wildlife and range of trees in Lichfield’s historic parks and discover a simple ways to identify trees using their leaves and bark.
Alison Richards, said: “Come along and enjoy a gentle stroll around Lichfield’s historic parks while taking in some fascinating facts about the different types of trees in the park, including the tree with knees, the world’s tallest living tree and a cedar that’s not a cedar.”
