Voters from across Lichfield District will be taking to the polls on Thursday 2 May 2013 to decide who they want to represent them at Staffordshire County Council.
With just a month to go before the May elections, Tuesday 2 April is Register to Vote Day, and Lichfield District Council is urging residents to take five minutes to secure their vote. Registering takes just a few minutes. If you live in Lichfield District, and have not yet registered, visit www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/elections to download a voter registration form, or call the elections team on 01543 308125. If you live outside Lichfield District, you will need to contact your local district or borough council to find out more.
Polling day will take place on Thursday 2 May 2013 between 7am and 10pm. Everyone that has registered to vote by the deadline will receive their polling cards through the post, which has details of where they can cast their vote.
