The Sooty Show
This is a great show full of fun, mischief and laughter as Sooty heads into Lichfield with a spectacular mix of magic, music and mess.
Book tickets today and you can join the nations favourite bear and his companions Sweep and Soo as they get up to some Monkey Business ... and of course Sooty's partner, Richard Cardell will be doing his best to keep things under control.
Special guests include the Butch the bulldog and Ramsbottom the snake.
There’s also a chance to meet Richard and Sooty after the show.
The Sooty Show is playing at the Lichfield Garrick on Sunday 19 October at 11am and 2.30pm. Tickets cost £12 for adults, £10 for children, and £38 for a family ticket.
Shakespeare Schools Festival
It's Shakespeares 450th birthday and the Lichfield Garrick will be marking the occasion by throwing him the biggest party ever.
As part of the largest Shakespeare Schools Festival to date, 35,000 young people will take to professional stages across the UK. From Southampton to Inverness, from Londonderry to Norwich, 130 theatres will be hosting a party to remember.
The Shakespeare Schools Festival is the UK’s largest youth drama festival and enables over 1,000 primary, second, and special schools to stage abridged Shakespeare productions in their local professional theatre.
Each night four schools will perform four different Shakespeare plays. Come and party with Shakespeare and celebrate the achievements of local schools in two wonderful evenings of entertainment.
Shakespeare Schools Festival will be at the Lichfield Garrick on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 October 2014 at 7pm.
Tickets cost £10 or £8 for students.
