Let’s Work Together Toolkit launch

Over the last year, Lichfield District Strategic Partnership has developed and embedded a new way of working across public sector agencies in the Lichfield District area, called Let's Work Together.

This is the initiative that aims to help people to live healthy, safe and independent lives by training home visitors - such as police and fire officers, health professionals and council workers - to spot dangers in the home that might not traditionally be part of their work area, and to explain to residents how they can get extra help and support.

The toolkit is a folder that has everything agencies need to get started with a Let’s Work Together project in their areas. To spread the initiative across a wider area, the Let's Work Together team launched the new toolkit at an event this January.

The launch saw more than 100 people from agencies across the county - including representatives from the police, fire and rescue service and NHS – come to the Lichfield Garrick in Staffordshire to find out more about the Let’s Work Together Toolkit.

The two-hour launch featured guest speakers from the Let’s Work Together team who talked the delegates through the background to the project, how they did it and the toolkit.
