The Lichfield Garrick has launched a new in-house Friends of the Garrick Membership scheme.
To celebrate the launch the theatre made four of Lichfield’s finest stalwarts, David Garrick, Samuel Johnson, Erasmus Darwin and Anna Seward honouree lifetime members.
The Friends Scheme offers four new levels at a variety of prices that are perfect for theatre lovers young and old with a host of benefits depending of the level of membership.
With opportunities to meet the stars of shows, behind the scenes access, invitations to VIP events and reduced priced tickets, the new scheme offers more access to the world of theatre in Lichfield than ever before.
The theatre has also introduced a new Standby Club which offers members last minute deals on performances.
Executive Director of the Lichfield Garrick, Karen Foster, who launched the new Friends of the Lichfield Garrick scheme said: “I am delighted to welcome our four new honorary Friends to the scheme and hope that many of our patrons and audience members will join Garrick, Johnson, Darwin and Seward in discovering more about the Lichfield Garrick whilst helping to support the theatre’s artistic and community activities. As an independent charity, we rely on the goodwill of our audience members and supporters to continue bringing the best entertainment and participatory activities to the heart of the district.”
The Friends of the Lichfield Garrick scheme is an annual membership. Prices start from £15 for a single membership to the Patron’s Circle up to £300 to join the Garrick Family Circle.
New members have the option to Gift Aid their membership which will enable the theatre, as a charitable trust, to claim a 25% contribution on their donation.
