True crime film series continues at the Lichfield Garrick next month with 1968 American thriller Targets.
The Lichfield Garrick will be showing horror film Targets in its Intimate Studio theatre on Wednesday 2 March 2016
Directed by Peter Bogdanovich, Targets follows an aged horror star who feels his low-budget movies pale in comparison with actual violence. Making an appearance at a drive-in movie, he runs into a local man on a killing spree.
The film will be preceded by a short talk by Julian Upton, author of Fallen Stars and editor of Offbeat: British Cinema’s Curiosities, Obscurities and Forgotten Gems.
Other classics showing at the Lichfield Garrick this spring include: 10 Rillington Place, The Black Panther and Henry: Portrait of A Serial Killer.
