Applications from people with a disability are welcomed from people aged up to 25 years. The Youth Board will run for a year from June 2019 and will meet at the Lichfield Garrick theatre.
Following funding from #IWILL, Jonny McClean, the theatre’s Community and Education Manager has been delivering workshops for schools and recruiting potential Youth Board members. He said:
‘Its exciting to see the Youth Board taking shape, as this will be an amazing opportunity for young people to both improve access to the theatre for their peers, as well as putting a fantastic experience on their CVs. We still have a couple of places available, so get in touch if you’re interested.’
