Ben Waters will be bringing his trio to the Guildhall in Lichfield on 11th March.
His performances are sensational – Ben has played many of the legends of rock ‘n roll names such as Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Shakin’ Stevens, Ray Davies, and is proud to call Jools Holland his friend and mentor.
Jools allowed Ben to use his studio for the up-coming tribute album to Ian Stewart (“Stu”), founder member of the Rolling Stones.
Profits will be going to the British Heart Foundation as Stu died 25 years ago aged 47 from a massive heart attack.
This is a momentous CD including artists as Jools himslef, Ben, Charlie Watts, Ronnie Wood, Keith Richard, Bill Wyman and P-J Harvey, all of whom wished to commemorate “Stu” - the man and his music.
Ben together with his very talented trio will be performing some of the material from the album as well as his usual eclectic power-driven boogie woogie and rock ‘n roll interspersed with some of his unique original material.
Following a year in which they have played all over the world and in many prestigious theatres and festivals, Ben and his band are looking forward to coming to Lichfield and playing the Guildhall.
