A very successful golf day in support of St Giles Hospice was organised by the Lichfield Lions and hosted by Whittington Heath Golf club.
Nearly 50 hardy souls battled the elements and completed 18 holes to raise nearly £3000.
Robert Horton a St Giles Trustee presented the prizes and thanked all those involved in staging such a successful event, highlighting that the hospice has received £60,000 from the golf days organises by the Lichfield Lions over recent years.
