Jane will take to the stage on Saturday 3 September 2011 to introduce the fantastic line up of classical music at Lichfield's annual free outdoor concert. 

Famous for her expertise in the popular Canadian TV programme, Wedding SOS, in which Jane answers distress calls from panicked brides and terrified bridegrooms, and saves the day as a fairy godmother who grants them three wishes to make their dream day come true. 

With more than 25 years of event planning experience, and with her work as a professional lady toastmaster, Jane is also no stranger to the stage and limelight. 

Jane Dayus-Hinch commented: "I am so pleased and honoured to have been asked to compere this year's Lichfield Proms, and I am really excited about the night. Lichfield's my home town, and I know what a highlight our proms are. It's such a treat to be able to come together and enjoy a superb evening's entertainment. I will do my best on the night, and I will have lots of friends and family there with the usual picnic and fizzy stuff!” 

Excitement is mounting for Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park, which is taking place on Saturday 3 September 2011. It is set to feature music from Lichfield City Concert Band and British Police Symphony Orchestra. There will also be solos from the soprano singer Joanne Mayling and tenor Mitesh Khatri.
