Match Update for today's game from Matt Minton Lichfield Shark's U10s coach.

With the league allocating them a free week, and the half term break fast approaching, the Sharks needed a friendly to keep them playing and Chasetown Colts were able to oblige as they also had a free week.

The Sharks started slowly but Chasetown didn't care as they broke the deadlock after just two minutes with a well worked goal that acted as a wake up call to the Sharks.

Tom Hurcombe got the Sharks back in the game with a 7th minute equaliser and from there on in the Sharks started to show a greater desire to win the game.

A quick fire double in the 18th & 19th minutes from Nathan Ray and a goal, that was all about desire to meet the loose ball, from Rio Young again in the 19th minute put Sharks in control of the game ad 1-4 up at half time.

The second half continued much in the same vein as the first finished with Tom Hurcombe getting his second of the day in the 28th minute and Josh Taylor opening his account for the day in the 29th minute before Nathan Ray added another 2 in the 30th and 33rd minutes.

MOTM; Kyle Cox who ensured the Sharks were tight at the back allowing his team mates the freedom to attack.

Well played Sharks you definitely deserve to be part of thebestoflichfield!
