Lichfield District Council, in partnership with Making Space, is putting the finishing touches to the third Carols in the Park concert, set to take place outside Beacon Park’s Swinfen Broun Pavilion on Saturday 11 December at 5pm.

Local people are invited to take a break from their Christmas shopping and sing-along to some of their favourite carols, including O Come All Ye Faithful and Ding Dong Merrily on High.

Councillor Val Richards, Cabinet Member for Leisure Services, said: "Get into the spirit of Christmas and come along to a free carol concert in Beacon Park. Don’t forget to wrap up warm and bring a torch and your singing voice.”
Taking a rest from his busy schedule, Father Christmas will be visiting the park to wish all the carollers a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
With mince pies and hot drinks available from the park’s catering pod, and a raffle with prizes such as a Gold Pass ticket to Chasewater Railway up for grabs, the event is sure to get everyone in the festive mood.
