Oh yes, if you use any of the businesses in Lichfield and think they are the best, let me know because I want to let everone else know.
On a different subject last night I went to the King Edward V1 Summer concert which was fantastic. Well done to all involved. It made me think what a great place we live in. The Lichfield Festival is currently in full swing, the Fuse run by Lichfield Arts and which was fantastic again this year, has just been on over last weekend and the new local talent is now coming through and can be seen at all the local schools as they put on their end of term concerts.
I do think all these events and the other ones that are always happening around Lichfield are part of what keeps a city vibrant. It's not all about shops closing down and developments put on hold. We live in a great city and we're lucky that there are enough people prepared to put the effort (usually entirely voluntarily) in to keep it that way.
So my advice is get down to the Fireworks finale on Saturday night in Beacon Park, be amazed by the quality of talent coming out of our local schools, take a look at the events section on thebestof Lichfield and get out there and enjoy the Summer!
