The Big Draw: the Story Studio
Activities t
hroughout the month for artists young and old, based on this year’s theme ‘every drawing tells a story. 10:30am to 16:30am

The Full Monty at The Lichfield Garrick Theatre - the performance tells the story of a group of out of work steelworkers who become strippers in order to make some cash. 7.30pm

The Lichfield Festival of Folk - an annual festival of folk from Lichfield Arts. Exmouth Shantymen with support from Dragonhead and Mitre’s Well.

The Hound of the Baskervilles at Lichfield Garrick - This production pays homage to the Basil Rathbone black and white film classic. 7:30pm
 

Saturday 17th October

The Lichfield Festival of Folk - an annual festival of folk from Lichfield Arts. Afternoon: Merry Hell Acoustic, Mad Jocks and Englishmen, Kate and Andy Fincham, Tony Portlock and Becky, Lichfield Folk Collective. Evening: TRADarrr, Granny’s Attic, Emily Sanders.

TG Roadshow: Ladies Day with Fashion Show – go along and enjoy M&S fashions and over 20 stalls of everything that ladies love. 10:00am. 

Wildlife Watch Group – Mammals - Activities and walks for children and young persons aged 8 to 14 at The National Memorial Arboretum. From 2:00pm. 

Sax night at The Pear Tree Creperie – enjoy the sounds of Samantha-Jayne and her distinctive saxophone playing while you enjoy an evening meal. From 7:30pm. 


Sunday 18th October

The Lichfield Festival of Folk - an annual festival of folk  from Lichfield Arts. Afternoon: Melrose Quartet, Richard and Jess Arrowsmith, Tom Perry and Clive Brookes, Wildfire Folk, Amelia Harrison. Evening: Blackbeard’s Tea Party, Nancy Kerr and James Fagan.

Hawkesyard Hall Wedding Fayre - over 30 exhibitors plus your chance to view this stunning venue.  From 11:00am.

Seed Sunday at Beacon Parktake the kids to make their own paper pot, find and plant chestnut and acorn seeds to take away. 

Bay City Rollers at Lichfield Garrick - Join Les McKeown and his 4 piece band for a celebration of those hectic days and the behind the scenes pandemonium that followed. From 7:30pm. 

The Language of Sculpture at Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum - join sculptor Peter Walker and explore Johnson’s link to sculpture in a talk and walk around the city sculpture trail. 11am and 2pm.
