Make a birdfeeder this Sunday
Taking place this Sunday 20th November between 11am & 2pm at the country park’s Innovation Centre, the free drop-in session involves pressing lard and seeds into pinecones, to offer birds a tasty treat over the winter.
Ellen Williams, Chasewater Ranger, said: “Food is harder for birds to find over the winter, so putting up a birdfeeder in your garden can really help. We hope lots of people stop by and make a birdfeeder at our event, which they can take home with them and hang in their gardens to help out their local birds.”
