The fun event with mud and water obstacles galore will be taking place on Sunday, 30th September at Cliff Lakes Water Park in Tamworth.
Zoe Westwood, Events Coordinator at St Giles Hospice, said: “Whether you choose to run or walk, or take part as an individual or in a team, this event is ideal for all levels of fitness. You can challenge yourself, your friends or your colleagues to complete our mud-filled obstacle course.
“Over 550 people took on the obstacle course last year, raising an amazing £32,500 for St Giles Hospice. This year we have opened the event up to ages five and over so little ones can get muddy for St Giles too!”
This year there will be three different events taking place during the day.
The Mud Challenge is open to participants aged 16 and over who can choose between tackling the 5km or 10km course. Waves start from 11.45am and entry is £35 per person. Entry includes a tech t-shirt, goody bag and medal.
The Junior Mud Challenge is open to children aged 10-15 years and features a 5km course. Waves start from 10.45am and entry is £20 per person. Entry includes a tech t-shirt, goody bag and a medal.
The Mini Mud Challenge is open to children aged 5-12 years and is £15 entry per person. Entrants can choose between a 1km or 2km course according to ability and waves start from 10am. Entry includes a goody bag and a medal.
