Erasmus Darwin House is proud to be holding a special mother’s day event, to follow-on from last year’s success. On Sunday 3 April between 11.30am and 3pm you can treat Mum to a FREE visit to the House and have some fun too! Mum will enjoy exploring our elegant Georgian House, while you can plant her a special herb and make a unique card for her to keep always.
Alison Wallis, curator/manager, says, ‘It’s wonderful on this special day for children to have some fun and learn a little about herbs, culinary or medicinal, that were so important to Erasmus Darwin in his life as a successful Doctor in Lichfield’.
Homemade cake and tea and coffee are available in our Georgian tearoom and please feel free to take a moment to enjoy our beautiful herb garden.
Entrance for Mum is free with usual admission charges applying thereafter.
For more information on the event please call Erasmus Darwin House on 01543 306260.
