Cool Jazz at the Lichfield Garrick
The cool West Coast style was kick-started by Mulligan and Baker with the famous quartet concerts at The Haig nightclub in Los Angeles, and their recordings for Pacific Jazz.
Selected tracks from these recordings have been carefully transcribed to put together a programme paying authentic tribute to those concerts, and recreating the ambience of the post-war boom times.
Mulligan Soup features four talented professional musicians, with a wealth of experience of many different musical genres.
