This year the Mayor of Lichfield Councillor Janice Greaves and Sheriff of Lichfield Cllr Andy Smith have chosen two particularly deserving charities to support: Guide Dogs for the Blind and Staffordshire Blood Bikes.
Their first fund raising event was held on Sunday 9th July which was a sponsored dog walk around Lichfield.
They approached Office Manager Andrew Davies from Pool House Vets to ask them to be the finishing point for the walk.
Pool House were delighted to help and in doing so helped to raise £500 for the charities.
